We were drawn to San Clemente because of a delightful climate and the nearness to the ocean. We like to be in the fresh air to entertain, exercise and spend time with family and friends. We are here because we care about our community. We want to make our community even better by providing “extras” for our beaches, parks and recreational programs, and to do this, Friends of San Clemente Beaches, Parks and Recreation Foundation was formed in 2000. We serve as a vehicle to assist the City in meeting its park and recreation goals, to provide a consistent funding source for projects and programs that would otherwise be delayed, might not occur, or would be discontinued due to lack of funding sources.
